Lived in Silicon Valley for forty years. Moved to our property in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana in November 2019.
Our favorite areas to visit have been the deserts of the Southwest: Mojave Preserve, Death Valley, Inyo Mountains, Arizona, and Nevada. Trips to the Sierra Nevada get thrown in there occasionally as well. Annette is a working artist, currently focused on sumi-e and water colors in a style influenced by Chinese and Japanese artists. I am a hi-tech professional, specializing in corporate supply chain and order management systems. Took some time off in 2018/19 and finished a graduate degree in GIST (geographic information science and technology). I am also an avid landscape photographer. Annette and I use our offroad travels to get to places to practice our art, to enjoy the land, and escape all the craziness of SilliValley.
