The pro halves are good quality. I like them and I always use them with the Takibi. They look similar to the grillnet that comes with the single bbq box but are much thicker/sturdier. They do not rust 👍 I don't like chrome plated grill nets/grates. Cast Iron or stainless 👍

The two unit IGT is what I use most. I have an old product 'the multi stand' which holds my GS220 burner. The 2 unit IGT is my prep station. All kitted out with hanging shelves and side tables it is just great :cool:

I hadn't really seen the TTA stuff before your post. The frame and side table look quite nice but it does indeed seem overdesigned/overly complex for what it does. Still tempted though :LOL:

The small fireplace is no problem at all. The small is backpacking size :). I took the fireplace to Schotland (NC500) last year as well and used it a lot. I grill whenever I get the chance ;) I put the grill flat on top of my main bag, but it should not be a problem in a pannier. I use a rotopax...

Took the small Fireplace on my motorbike tour of the Pyrenees two weeks ago. I still prefer a stainless bridge/grate, but so be it ;)

fully agree, stainless half pros are the way to go. I have never liked like chrome plates grates. The only one I have is the integrated grate/bridge for the small Takibi. I thought at one point I saw a stainless grate/bridge setup for the small on ebay but have never been able to find it again.

It is a shame this is a bit unwieldly/heavy to ship or I would send a pile over to the States ;) Really digging the combo. The middle 'rack' prevents your food from falling in the Fireplace and holds a skillet for sauce or onions etc. @snowpeak if you are following this thread....... ?

Quite some Petromax items for sale on Amazon, but I don't seem to see the grill ring.

It is a Petromax accessory for their Feuerhand Pyron. It is just the right size for the Large fireplace.

Just a nice night to make some homemade brisket burgers. I use a fire ring on the Large Fireplace. Perfect combo in my humble opinion. You get heat, you get some flames and you can grill. When you are done you just fold it up. What more do you want :cool: These burgers were smoked with apple...
