Ive done it both ways. Once with a 52 chevy that I set on a 75 big block 1 ton 4x4 chassis...here in AZ there isnt a safety inspection and anything older than 1968 doesnt need an emissions test. So we didnt do anything....still titled as a 52 chevy truck to this day. The other was a 89 Dodge...

Thats an awesome deal on the FW Hawk! If you havnt already, check out the "pop up truck camper" forum (about 3 or 4 below this on the EXPO forum main page) those guys are doing some amazing stuff rebuilding them.

Got any links? I havnt heard anything. Ive been running ATP's on my 2500 Silverado for about 2 years now. No issues whatsoever, everything from towing heavy to 4 wheeling the desert southwest. I plan on buying them again after this set gets used up. Sorry, never ran the Nittos so I cant...

It doesn't help in any way as far as usability goes...But as far as enjoyment goes, It doesn't hurt that that truck is stupid sexy!

I have been running sleeves on my '05 for about 8 years. I'm in the rocks and ruts alot and I didnt want to deal with a bent tierod out in the desert somewhere. But! They REALLY confuse the alignment tech's around where I live. :rolleyes: Even after I tell them that I have sleeves on my truck...

Hey Z. Im from Mesa so I know the roads you plan on driving. And Ive pretty much driven all those roads in a 2wd truck. Can the lift and tires help? YUP. Do you need em? NOPE. From what I read of your posts above it sounds like you probably know those roads also, and you already knew the answer...
