    Hi strength WHEELS, where?

Below is quote from Trailready. As mentioned $$$, but worth it IMO Mark, our wheels are marked with the industry standard 3000 for 5-6 lug and 3400 for 8 lug, however, the 17" failed in destructive testing at 5500 lbs so they are very strong. The 20 failed at nearly 7000 lbs. The 20...

Hallmark Build List - did I missing anything?

More specifically, not the external system, but the points of attachment integral to the camper. They may have made changes since 2010 but their system then, was not designed for anything but highway use.

toying with idea of pop up truck camper

Based on my limited experience, weigh your truck, deduct your GVW and start from there. Your options will be very limited if you obey the rules, but I never have liked rules

    Best tire and rim size

Great info from all...love the rig and pic wild, miss the white stuff. 17s have the most options and true they are the new 15, but the loads are just not there. Has anyone experienced a failure of a "new" E rated tire.

    Best tire and rim size

46" ?? dont think I could stuff those in the wheel wells. I like 17" with 35". Wheel is big enough to clear the calipers and still get good amount of contact when aired down, but tire choices are limited when needing a min. of 3400 lb rating, choices are much better going to 18", but I know with...

Looking for thoughts and experience regarding the best rim/ tire size. Tire will be a 35" load E off road tire, but will see pavement to get to the dirt. With rim sizes from 16"-20" what works best off road? Smaller wheel for more sidewall and overall lighter weight or?? Is a beadlock wheel...
