    thin and light Windows laptops

You don't really need a crazy set up. Something with decent specs and most of all something that fits Your needs is what people should look for. I know (I) will use mine for in the Jeep only so why go spend 12-1400 on a laptop? If it was going to be for home use too then that's a total different...

A mini laptop or Ipad as my trail GPS?

Awesome! This answers many of my questions. I can't bring myself to pay $200 for a laptop mount so i am going to hit up my fab guy for a mount. All i need is swivel and tilt after we find it's final mounting place.

A mini laptop or Ipad as my trail GPS?

That EEE tablet looks like it's going to fit my needs perfectly! I was also looking at the Acer and HP mini lap tops but that beats it by being a tablet. I honestly think that will be my decision! Question about Delorme: Does it show off highway trails? Like say rubicon trail, Dusy ershim...

4 day trip in the plans suggestions please

I will definitely probably end up getting that fridge! It will be nice to not have to worry about meat going bad. I do want to eventually get that ARB fridge one though. It's pretty affordable, big, and reliable. What wattage of power supply would i need to run that?

    Your favorite camping meals

Steaks definitely sound good but the part of having to cut the steak is a downer. I take paper plates so cutting a steak would not work out that well. lol Maybe pre cut the steak to bit size pieces though.

A mini laptop or Ipad as my trail GPS?

I am still open to suggestions as far as a Garmin GPS. SD cards are cheap and i can just swap them out.
