I'm looking for something to keep dry food items in for my trip to yellowstone. I'll be in a soft top jeep. I found a large fiberglass box at a surplus store with clamps on all the sides and a rubber seal. Would something like this be ok to leave in a open vehicle and not worry about bears...

I always find the best time to explore out there is after the leaves are down. You can see alot more through the wood's where there are old homestead remain's, car's etc...
