    Outlander Sport Build

Oh nice! They're pretty capable little machines. A bit under powered and not much for them in terms of aftermarket but that's when you can have some real fun and make it really your own!

    Outlander Sport Build

My "snow-lander" It is about that time of year! I'm so torn on the snorkel. Part of me likes it as it is different but the other part of me wants it OFF! I get so many questions like "How deep you take that thing?" I get it... but come on :) I may ditch it and get a nice cold air setup but...

    Outlander Sport Build

Yo!!! Not many updates as of late. I did make a new aluminum "stealth" rack with a new light bar. Lightweight and quite sturdy. I ditched the tire carrier and ladder. It was a bit heavy for my rear spring setup. Ive just been enjoying the thing pretty much! Most of it has just been keeping up...

    Outlander Sport Build

Wow, I haven't updated this in forever! The outlander has gone through some changes! Also the CVT took a crap on us so that was $3500 to replace :( I am reading about regarding CVT transmissions and learning they HATE heat, which is how ours died I believe. I do a lot of motorcycle towing...

    Outlander Sport Build

We took a drive and Hike up to Artist Point here in Glacier, WA at Mt. Baker. Of course I had to stop and get a pic of the Outlander :) It's funny, to me now the car is normal but to others it's kind of odd so we get a lot of looks and stares and then I remember, Oh yeah I have a snorkel on an...

    Outlander Sport Build

Update pic. I filled in the mid section of the bumper a few days ago and did a temporary type of skid/radiator and condenser guard. I think I am going to leave the outers on the bumper open and just focus on undercarriage protection. Hopefully soon i can get started on some sliders, rear tire...

No, it is Vinyl that I had. I was going to paint it but figured I may want to remove it at some point. You can get good quality outdoor vinyl on eBay for pretty cheap along with some knife-less tape to cut off the excess.

    Outlander Sport Build

Update pics! We are FINALLLLLY back in Washington. Holly hell, I'm happy :) Here are a few shots. Snorkel is installed and working smoothly, new AT's are kicking butt. Only thing now is to finish the front bumper, make a rear tire carrier/fuel holder and a good lift!

    Highway 1 Trip

Just completed the trip! We left Phoenix and made it to Sacramento. From Sacramento we stopped and camped in the Redwoods at Del Norte Camp Ground at Mill Creek. From there we headed to Oregon and made our second camp trip at Cape Lookout. Tons of great things to see and do. The Tillamook Cheese...

    Suspension Upgrade and Lifting

Ok thanks mate, we recently just installed new 29" A/T's and I can say I do feel a bit of a difference in performance but nothing too bad. I can pick up a few performance parts which should help this a bit...I will do more look into a subframe drop and see what can be done for an Outlander...

Don't Throw Your Life Away - Battling Marine Debris from Alaska to Panama

Awesome posts so far mate. My wife and I are moving back to Bellingham, WA and leaving AZ tomorrow. We will be taking the coast up through the Redwoods and the Oregon Coast. What you are doing is amazing and wish you all the best luck! I just have to ask....what are you doing with all the trash...

    Suspension Upgrade and Lifting

So not sure if this is in the right section...but. I am doing some research on getting the most lift out of our Outlander Sport. There are a few ways to get 1-2" but I'd really like to do a possible coil over swap either from a different make/model or a good aftermarket approach. We'd like to...

    Outlander Sport Build

The angle of the snorkel head is really bothering me, so when we get to WA I am gonna break out the heat gun and try and straighten it up. Then off to the lift!!! I wanna go BIG so not sure if I should do a full coil over swap and all the other essentials involved or start small with a 2" top...

2005 Tundra novice build - "The Rez"

Damn man! That oil is nasty!!! I did my Xterra tranny oil every 20k miles too. I was towing a lot though. Sometimes I did a flush and fill and sometimes just a full drain and re-fill.

Haha, @borison nope :) In my defense, if we did not hit the deer I can't say the build would have started.

@borison Haha, thanks man. We own a custom motorcycle shop and cut up new stuff all the time :) It really offends people haha. Yeah, we are going to be back in Bellingham, WA. Close to Glacier.
