Enclosed off road Trailer to fit a Dirt Bike

wow, you have some off the charts skills. Very nice! I have recently installed my brake controller and while the jeep handles braking fine with the trailer, with the brake controller it's amazing. I put in a truck bed rubber mat on the floor replacing the old temp rug, insulated the doors...

Bronco Killer: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 470HP 392 CONFIRMED for 2021 Q1 sales.

Yeah I've heard the same. I think it's great that ford's turbo's will allow you to go 87, but I havent read anywhere that the 392's have that same flexability. If it did that would change things for me. In fact, if superchargers would allow the same thing I would much rather go that route.

Bronco Killer: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 470HP 392 CONFIRMED for 2021 Q1 sales.

Love my 3.6 and think it's plenty powerful. Usually you dont need BIG power when wheeling, but who doesnt want more? I wont be buying one but those that do arent going to care much about premium gas. For me I do care since it likely wont be available where I will be going. For ME I'd much...

Bronco Killer: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 470HP 392 CONFIRMED for 2021 Q1 sales.

I agree with this with the exception of the dog part. My rule of thumb is the dog costs should never exceeds it's replacement value. :)

Enclosed off road Trailer to fit a Dirt Bike

I ended up building one using my dads old trailer. I used a wood frame and it seems to be built pretty stout. I know this because I lifted it off the trailer to have the frame mod'd and I stupidly dropped it from about 2 foot height with no damage and nothing moved structurally. Couldn't...

Northern Teardrop Trailer X North 53 Overland - Semi-Custom Northern Teardrop Trailer Build - Alberta, Canada

Your better off with a jeep anyway, depending on what you do. It is a bummer on the wheel pattern though. Guessing you're dead set against a straight axle. I went straight axle begrudgingly thinking the ride would be horrible but it doesnt appear to be too bad. Plus they are very easy to...

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

true but it's IFS comes from a ranger per them, tweaked no doubt, and THEY say it wont flex as well, and to be stronger than a SFA would be one magic IFS. These are all things we know for now. Forums are for discussing things, real or imagined. I could go on at length at what I dont like...

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

makes sense cause you can push them harder. Time for better axle shafts if your breaking them all the time. ;)

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

yeah this reaffirms what I already know about IFS. They basically had the same platform and went with it instead of going SFA. They also admit it wont flex as good as jeep which we all should already know as well. Hey there are a lot of things I like about the bronco. 2.7 for one, looks not...

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

lol, well than its obvious you've had a lot of practice with the cv shafts breaking and we all get fast with experience ;) A real four wheeler wants strength and while a ifs has some pluses, strength isnt typically one of them compared to sfa

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

jeep aint about baja then as it is now. The same is true now, with IFS it's a baja machine that will do to moderate wheeling. Bronco got it's ******** kicked in the market place where it really counts.

Enclosed off road Trailer to fit a Dirt Bike

Forgot about this thread. I'm looking again at this trailer. Really hard to find any reviews on how well it's holding up and I'm especially concerned with how well the axles hold up. I will be going many hundreds/thousands of miles on likely pretty crappy road so this is something I need to...

    Intech flyer Explore

I hear a lot of good things about this off road trailer but not much about it's off road capability. It doesnt appear to have much wheel travel looking at the distance between the tires and fenders. How well does it's dexter axles handle the trail? Any reports on long term use in rugged...

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

yeah the two door with 35s should be ok and awesome for those that dont want or know how to work on their vehicles. The 4 door with 35s is a different story though. Lifting IFS is more expensive and causes problems so the nod for those wanting to tweak their rigs to suit cheaply goes to SFA.

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

lol, had a bunch of wranglers and never broke anything and I actually wheel my rigs.

nope, I and the wife think the same. The high dollar model being the exception.

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

The only one that really compares to jeep is the old ones. 1966 to 77 I believe are the real bronco's to compare with. The new bronco takes it's cues from that style. Should a took more cues like it's SFA. lol
