Pics of your VAN! Post up!

This is off Bowman Lake Road (where it's still paved) and you head up towards Carr-Feeley Lake Campground. There is a small network of dirt roads that go here and to Lindsay Lake campground. Some of the roads are more 'van friendly' than others so that's why I scouted on my 300 first. Folks...

Pics of your Bikes and Rides

This past weekend I decided to reconnoiter camp spots for next weekend using the van and the 300 I wanted to make sure the roads were suitable for the van While scouting for a spot we camped at over ten years ago I came across a familiar landmark. Eventually I found this sweet spot with no...

Pics of your Bikes and Rides

    Luggage for XR650R

On our earlier Baja group rides we packed for the occasional camp, but it turned out to be easy enough (and cheap enough) to just get a room and get rid of the extra gear. You would be surprised at how much space the sleep kit, and cooking kit actually takes up in your luggage. I carry a SOL...

    Luggage for XR650R

Sounds like a great trip. Are you going to be camping and living off the bike or riding a lot of backcountry on this trip? If you are camping the Coyote might be a little small, but you can add a second duffel or dry bag. If you're not camping the coyote should be just right, but it all depends...

    Better sleeping pads and mats?

I like the Nemo stuff if I use a pad, but for me it's a cot all the way. A cot isn't for everyone, but there are so many options across the price range and depending where you buy them you can often try them and return them if you don't like it. I've tried a few different ones, but usually go...

How about a few from StonyBARF 18. Our local Moto Forum does this twice a year and it's always awesome riding around Stonyford OHV in the Mendocino forest.

This is a great heater. We have one in our van and it heats up our space in minutes. It's pretty darned quiet too. Bump for a great system..

Yetti’s Pacific North West Exploration & Expeditions Picture heavy

I'd be interested to hear about how you're powering it and how much power it needs. I'm seriously thinking about it after borrowing others wifi in remote locations.

    Falken Wildpeak AT4W

I did end up putting these AT4's on my Transit Van, and so far I like them a lot on the pavement. I'll never see more than the average forest road, but I think they're going to work out.
