.... and really wet, short grass. Have you ever tried to sprint on that in anything besides good cleats? When the grass was wet our cleats went from 3/8" to 3/4" for a reason.

Not for USA: New Ford Ranger

If a diesel were offered stateside there would be one in my driveway. Don't love the looks, but it is really similar to the Hi-lux (don't really like the looks of that either). Of course Ford's market research says we don't want Rangers. Our small truck drivers would rather drive a V6 F150.

    2000-2003 F250 Superduty for a summer trip

In January I bought a 2004 F350 Crew Cab XL with the 5.4l. I looked at the diesels but they were too much money, besides I wanted an XL which are usually found with the cheaper engine options. So far I have been very impressed. The 5.4 moves the truck nicely. It tows pretty good, but it will...

    How are troopers?

You will be impressed I drove a 2002 Trooper for nearly 8 years and well over 100,000 miles. I didn't really want it when I bought it and dreamed of owning a Tacoma the whole time I owned it, but now that I have sold it I am kicking myself. I bought my Trooper because it was the cheapest...

    Super Duty Crew Cab owners?

I just bought mine yesterday, I will be posting up with some questions soon. So far I am very impressed but the ride is STIFF! I bought a super clean 2004 F350 CC, SB at a GSA auto auction. Good source for these if you are looking for basic amenities. Tyler

How would you outfit this custom LJ?

Wow:drool::drool::drool: I think following the lines of a traditional exploration LR is a great idea. Skinny tires (235/85 or 255/85) with a small lift, basic bumpers, and mounting a spare on the hood wood be SWEET! Nice craftsmanship!

    Twin Springs, OR

Henry, Thanks for posting all of the photos. We spent the last couple of weekends around Castle Rock. I was down around Twin Springs exploring last year in September and it was HOT! That rock pile is impressive! I saw it from about 5 miles off last year and found my way to it, it is hard...
