Quite a few i6 motors were developed and used in truck and car platforms due to their inner at balance and good hp/tq numbers.. Many Holden's ended up in rovers..

Great thread... Perfect power and tranny combo for the 109... Good choice keeping the series box.. It's damn strong... Wanted to put a 4L in my 109 when I rebuilt it, but kept it rover.. Had a dream of a 4l, t18 trans and dana 18 tcase... W/overdrive.

I'm kinda in planning stages right now.... Working on ideas right now... How best to keep stock aspects, but make it more functionable.

just picked up a 73 CJ6, 304V8 and factory hardtop... I have been toying with the idea of making this overland ready... I know wranglers have been stretched, scramblers have their place as well.. Has anybody done anything to a 6 that stands out? I searched and found some mention, but no...
