    FS: TRD 3.4L Supercharger w/URD 7th kit

Parting out my 1997 4runner to pay some bills and begin a new project. Just pulled the Supercharger off along with the URD 7th injector kit. Supercharger was working great and is in good shape. I did an oil change on it 2 years (3500 miles ago). Whats included: Idler and bracket All needed...

Long overdue interior shots. Have yet to camp and run the AC so I now have a year to figure out and route the drain line. And this is our temp setup till I make drawers.

Gas springs for trailer lid - help me decide...

Sroth is right, Lid will twist if you only have one. Post pics of the setup, you may have to get creative with the mounting point.

I heavily considered getting street friendly tires for the same reason.

    Trailer brake controller

I went cheaper and got the tekonsha 9030 for my 97 4runner. Super easy setup and calibration, works fine. Hardest part of the install was finding the brake signal trigger wire.

    Show your leveling jacks

Not the best pic for this, but I have 2x BAL 25" up front and 2x in the back. The front ones are going to get removed and mounted in the opposite direction.

    Teardrop Style Questions

I have yet to weigh mine. But I did 2x2 .120 wall tube for the trailer frame. Walls were 3/4" plywood core with 1/4" outter and 1/8" inner. I routed out some areas and filled with insulation. If I could do it again, I would 1/8 inner/outer and use 1/2" for the center. Then route out more...

Making a swing out tyre carrier/bike rack for the rear of the trailer

For swing outs, I have always used flanged bronze bushings in a DOM sleeve with a grade 8 bolt going through them. Mounted in double sheer. You can get the bushings from Mcmaster super cheap ($3 each). The first bumper I made I used a 1" grade 8 bolt which was super over kill. My current...

Engel 45 Transit bag / cover

**SOLD** Moved my Engel out of my truck and into my teardrop, no longer need the cover. Cover is in pretty good shape, just needs to be dusted off and installed. There is one tear on the top of it... from a bear that got into my truck last year. Yes a bear.

Trailer Suspension options... for overland trailer

If you have the alloy wheels, they are lug centric (I hope thats the correct term) where the lug nut centers the rim onto the hub. You can use these on a trailer, you just need to have metric studs on the trailer hub and more of the expensive toyota lug nuts.

    Battery chargers and battery sizes

Thats a pretty serious charger. I put a 1.5amp charger and a good sized marine battery in my teardrop. All I have is an engel, LED lights, fan and various USB charging points. On our last 3 night trip the battery never dropped below 12 volts so even If I had hookups the charger would not of...

Help -- Need to install window mount AC in a cabinet

Airflow. This is how I did mine. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/149793-Offroad-teardrop-build?p=2108018#post2108018 It uses a 120mm quiet PC fan to pull air out of the box and vent out the top via a 3" marine vent. Its barely enough venting and I am planning on adding a second...

Trailer Suspension options... for overland trailer

Good call, I forgot about the lug-centric issue with the 4runner rims. The spacers fix that. I switched over to land cruiser rims and 1/2" studs a few years ago. Guessing thats why I had no issues with my trailer hubs.

Trailer Suspension options... for overland trailer

I'm gonna need to see more pics of that rear bumper :-) Looks pretty sweet. For 6 on 5.5" pattern, you have to go with 2000/3500 lb spindles.. I looked when I made my teardrop. You could run wheel adapters.

    Offroad teardrop build

I routed a recess in the shelf that holds the AC to kind of act as a bowl, coated it in epoxy then there is a hole in it with a vinyl tube to catch the water. I have not decided if I am just going to put a catch bottle in there or route the tube to the floor and out to the ground. Back of the...
