We recently inherited a custom built teardrop camper which is equipped with a microwave. We don't ever plan on using the microwave, and since we live in South Florida, air conditioning would be of much more use to us!
I have seen some teardrops with window type AC units in them, and I have researched Climate Right. I would like to simply remove the microwave and replace it with a small efficient window type ac, but I am not sure exactly how to make sure it gets proper ventilation and condensation drainage, while maintaining a nice clean looking install.
Any suggestions?
Dimensions of microwave cubby are 18.5" wide by 12.5" tall
Galley with microwave
Interior of cabin, behind mirror/shelf is the microwave
