Anyone run a front e locker in a gm 1500 ?
D Ducky's Dad Explorer Nov 30, 2017 #2 I thought about it on my K1500, but the consensus was that the GM 1/2-ton front diff and axle shafts are a weak point and the locker would probably cause breakage.

E ExplorerTom Explorer Nov 30, 2017 #5 You'll rarely use a front locker. Unless you do a lot of snow wheeling. I have a Truetrac in the front of my Explorer. I guess it works. That's the beautiful thing about Truetracs- they are so invisible. I just go.
