Real world Starlink dish differences? Or, is it worth the $2K upgrade?

First, I am looking at the ROAM plan to go with my Overlanding Tacoma pickup. I don't believe I will be eligible for the $299 antenna with ROAM.

https://www.starlink.com/specifications?spec=2

The Flat Panel and High Performance "pedestal" antennas are $2500 and appear to support concurrent connections to more satellites than the base antenna. I assume this would allow me to 'bounce' to a less congested satellite if I needed to but, my data needs are pretty basic with laptop based YouTube videos being the most strenuous sustained bandwidth hog.

What "performance" differences will I see with the $2500 antenna versus the $500 antenna?

TIA,
Sid

The 140-degree Field Of View of the High Performance antenna should allow it to work better in partially obstructed sky views like near tree cover.

I’ve been using Starlink for almost four years and partial obstruction due to trees won’t be an issue for your usage. The drop in connection is only noticeable when doing something like a video call or online gaming.
