I have a new crew cab dodge, it has the super short bed (5'-7") what are some build options?
I have a family of 3, soon to be 4. plus a dog.... maybe 2 after we have our second baby.
So space is at a premium.
I will need sleeping space for 2, plus 2 little ones. once they are old enough they can sleep in a tent or whatever they want... but i'd like either a RTT or something similar.
I have a flippac for a mini truck, I can either build a cabover camper using the FP as the top...or I was thinking of chopping the whole FP off, and enclosing it so it'd be like a hard shell RTT with an access hole in the bottom. I think that is my best option, but i dont really want to build a big rack that extends over the cab.. but I also dont want it to hang off the back of the truck.. it might look silly..:bike_rider:
I am not sure of any MONSTER RTT's but i'd need a pretty big one to fit everyone in it.
I like the idea of not having to pull all my gear out of my truck to put in a slide in camper.
I dont want to drop the coin on a new flippac.
Anyone got any great suggestions? I havent seen too many short bed builds on here
