T Bolts for the Penthouse

After getting a drip in the face in a thunderstorm I felt it was time to replace the bolts that hold the roof together.

This is what I came up with. They are Stainless steel 1/4-20 by 4" panhead allens welded to a 1/8 inch Stainless steel plate.

What do you all think?

the best part is I only had one bolt that showed a little rust on it and doing this with no washer on a washer it limits the chance of water seeping in. The buytl rubber was still in good shape all around to my suprise.

A friend cut the disc's using a Arcwire cutter thing that is supper accurate and they stack all kinds of odd parts to cut. its pretty cool.

His welder is amazing and they almost look brazed.

Any intrest I might get him to make a few more. Granted he did these because I programmed a few drives and softstarts for him at no charge.
