Pics of your VAN! Post up!

The next mod for "Blueford T Justice" is a CRL t slider behind the driver side door. It seems like the install isn't too hard? Just scary, because you're cutting a giant hole in your van. My only real concern is the comments about quality, but it seems like they are the only company out there...

    (DIY) Builder Burnout

Boy do I know what you mean! It's been super hard for me to stay motivated and focused. After spending almost 2 years building "Lucinda" just to get her roadworthy, and the interior or exterior hasn't even been dealt with. Let alone all of the leftovers that I have dial in to make it as safe and...

    Blueford T Justice- 2006 E250 4x4

I would start with the rockers first, then see how you like it. My experience with rhino liner up here would make me just do the rockers. It gets so dirty with the mag chloride it's almost impossible to get clean. I went back out to check out your van and it was gone. I think your blue is...

How bad is the body damage? Where are you going to line it, just the rockers? Liner definitely fills in the smaller stuff. But because the liner is textured and kinda matte, it hides alot of the damage.

The Lunchbox Build... 4x4 chevy shorty van

Scar looks almost as tough as the van. Glad you made it out alive and keep getting out in the van. Cut wheels are a nasty tool, it's probably better you cut you chest, and not a tendon or a whole finger or fingers.

Thanks for confirming my my disbelief. The manufacturers specifications stated they were rated to 500 lbs a piece for that thickness of metal. They are the steel, not aluminum rivnuts, but I still didn't feel 100% confident. However, I have used them in a variety of applications over the years...

Really diggin the carpeted floor. I'm pretty impressed with the looks and quietness it provides. I didn't think it would make such a big difference. Now I can hear all of the rattles.

I got the carpet I decided to use for the floor of the van at good ole Home Depot. Mainly because we live in a small town and there really isn't any other choice. But It really seems like good stuff, and was $4.46 per linear foot, so $70.00 to do the floor of the van. It is coated with rubber on...

The Lunchbox Build... 4x4 chevy shorty van

Are you wearing a respirator when you weld and grind? If not, get one! There's a ton of nasty stuff you release when you do either. A good 3M mask with the pink 2097 filters is what I wore every day for the last 10 years. No more black buggers. If you weld and don't use one, supposedly a glass...

Saw this funky camo like they used on battleships in WWII and thought of the Lunchbox.

I started the insulation process of the van using reflectix. I bought a 2' x 100' for insulating Lucinda and still have enough left over to get a bunch done on "Blueford T Justice".

All shiny. I am thankful they installed a seat for me in the van as part of my purchase deal. However, the seat was too close to the front seats and when removed the brackets from the seats are sticking up about 2 1/2" and very in the way. So, away the seat and brackets go. The Sprinter van...

Funny stuff, my wife seems "OK" with it, too. Very cool, Eric is a really good friend of mine, I meant to ask if you guys are neighbors when I saw you. It would be fun to get everybody together. Have to be soon, before it gets too cold.

    Blueford T Justice- 2006 E250 4x4

It's been getting cold up here at night and the vinyl seats suck in the morning, and just suck, so some seat covers were necessary. Nothing fancy, but they are Dickies. It's like they were made for these seats and have a provision for the armrests even. They will be way better until I can find...

Definitely good to finally meet you and your wife. Sorry to make her sit around while we geeked out over vans. It's kinda funny how you get used to walking out to your van and either see someone fully checking it out or waiting to talk to you about it. Glad someone on here got to see Lucinda up...

    Blueford T Justice- 2006 E250 4x4

Thanks! And thanks for the info. I have always used K & N's and now I feel kinda dumb. Must have been a placebo effect, because I swear I could tell a difference in power. I did over oil the one in my 4runner once, and got a MAF sensor CEL code but it went away after I cleaned the MAF sensor. I...
