I would stick with the 241 for this application. If rock crawling is your thing, then a 205 or better yet one of the ORD upgraded 205's would be in order but for general offroad use the 241 will serve you well.

Check rockauto for the the expansion tank. The one for my 87 K20 was super cheap brand new.
