    Cost was the biggest reason, I’ve done the whole swap for about $2500. I don’t think I could have done coils and links that cheap.I did build a radius arm setup that used the factory coils but it sat to tall for my taste.

    It’s for a 2007 tundra I changed the entire front and had to narrow the sides between the taillights to make it fit.

    Yep for now, I have 6 lug hubs for it I just need to get around to putting them on.

    Not to hard I cut the bottom off my factory seat frames and welded them to the bottom of the caddy frames.

    Look at the boxes on electrical and plumbing trucks there fairly common in salvage yards. Mines an ARE and cost $2000 new I bought it from my local u pull yard for $300.

    It rides great, the rear brackets are spring hangers from a 2018 f550 (I build limousines and get a lot of take off parts) flipped upside down with parts store universal shackles. The rear springs are for a 3/4 ton Chevy and the fronts are 5 inch lift for the rear of a half ton Chevy.

    Got some new falken wildpeak at’s hopefully they’ll drive better than my old super swampers. So far I’ve only been able to make a few trips on some local lake roads with it but hope to run some good trails with it this spring.

    I found a ARE camper shell for a 2007 tundra in my local junkyard with a little cutting around the back door it fits well. I cut the front of the shell out to match my back window and sealed around it because my entire back window rolls down. I also put on a swing out tire carrier from a Nissan...

    My interior was worn out mostly from the roofing company who owed this truck before me so I replaced the dash, door panels and carpet. The seats are 2nd row from a couple 2018 Escalades and the rear console is from the front of a sequoia.

    I decided I needed to upgrade the rear suspension along with the front so it got 63” Chevy springs front and rear and a rear shackle flip. I also coated the entire frame in POR15 to prevent rust wile it was apart.

    Here some pics of my tundra rebuild. It had some small mods done to it before it was totaled. After I found out the front diff was damaged and the front of the frame was bent I decided to install a Dana 44 up front.

    Thanks, it’s from a mid 90s Nissan Pathfinder I had to modify the mounts now it bolts through the shell to 1/4 inch steel plate that’s on the bed. I’m 150lbs and can sit on the tire wile it’s open and nothing gives.

    I have swing open doors on mine and love how useful it is. Easy to open and makes it a little more like an suv I think.

    This is my 2006 tundra it’s has a ARE camper shell, Dana 44 front axle, 4.10 gears, snorkel, 63” springs and a few other mods.
