Here some pics of my tundra rebuild. It had some small mods done to it before it was totaled. After I found out the front diff was damaged and the front of the frame was bent I decided to install a Dana 44 up front.8EBBC03E-21FA-4AA9-A97C-30C994533F3A.jpegB0C64769-EC1F-4D21-AE3E-BD056FA74DA9.jpeg80CAB892-00F9-4FAE-BADB-1B4D1021A391.jpeg37BF8837-3A9E-4209-9D70-43D5F8755F84.jpeg50A37E22-E4CF-4B8B-9252-01B893472502.jpeg25828BD6-A969-4D07-A522-D0EBF92C74F7.jpegFE478B07-5C72-4E6F-88FB-FD71739E04F4.jpeg

I decided I needed to upgrade the rear suspension along with the front so it got 63” Chevy springs front and rear and a rear shackle flip. I also coated the entire frame in POR15 to prevent rust wile it was apart.4C219B8D-CA52-473B-935F-4E0342EE4D13.jpegE1F5332B-9445-4FA8-8155-275AA488B2EC.jpeg25BCB001-AAA0-4B17-BCF3-45374ED9BD22.jpeg1E194716-594B-4E23-8D8E-4A536741A954.jpeg

I found a ARE camper shell for a 2007 tundra in my local junkyard with a little cutting around the back door it fits well. I cut the front of the shell out to match my back window and sealed around it because my entire back window rolls down. I also put on a swing out tire carrier from a Nissan Pathfinder. Love the truck! How does it ride now with front SAS and rear springs? How difficult was it to swap to the longer springs in the back? Are those rear brackets readily available or did you have to fab those?

It rides great, the rear brackets are spring hangers from a 2018 f550 (I build limousines and get a lot of take off parts) flipped upside down with parts store universal shackles. The rear springs are for a 3/4 ton Chevy and the fronts are 5 inch lift for the rear of a half ton Chevy.

This thing is righteous! Looks like it was a bunch of work to get to this point - great job!
