I refused to pay the ridiculous price and wait almost a year for the various Gladiator toppers available. I found an old ARE contractor topper and shortened it 13 inches. Fits reasonably well and now I have terrific bed access and a nice rack for those longer things. All-in project cost $400.00

U.S. Military folding cot built like a tank and will last forever. At 18 lbs not bad. It will support anything you want to put on it.

I think the LJR is the pinnacle of Jeep development. The addition of overly complicated computer controls has really degraded the Jeep line-up. My only complaint was the small gas tank.

Great design. I have built several over the years and much like yourself I like the stove on the top and easy to use in place. I have made the top cover so it hinges back to make a table space to spread things out a bit.

The Alpha V8 should have been the standard for the H3 line. It might just have been much more successful. Nice power and towing capability for a small truck. I have owned both a TJ unlimited and JK. Didn't care for either one towing my trailer. I have come to the conclusion for towing nothing...
