It reads like a tow company wasn't paying taxes for several years. I'm not sure that 2.1mil encumbrance would be transfered to the buyer however, because that would completely negate the sale. I would guess the proceeds from the auction would be applied towards it, while the original forfeiter...

That would make an excellent built! Reasonably light, large enough to be comfortable for two, compact enough to go a lot of places plus a plain jane exterior. And a great price to boot.

I'm interested in it (less the winch). Any electrical issues (power windows/locks/moonroof/seat)? If you can get some higher res pics, I can make you a real deal offer that I think you'll be pleased with.

I'd give a nod to the Tahoe too. Even the GMT900 (07-14) trucks are pretty simple over all. They are plagued with AFM/DOD failures, but the easiest solution to prevent it is scheduled oil changes and use good oil. They can be had with dual zone climate control, heated seats, moon roof, etc...

Sketchy at best... I imagine the buyer will run into some difficulty with this given recent events. Tell us a little more about this "loophole" you speak of?

It would easier to swap the AWD transfer case for an autotrac unit. It is close to a direct swap.
