Nice, I bought some of those switches a while back and planned to do the same thing. Do the switches fit once the coin inserts are popped out or did you have to do some fitting?

To reinstall use the string method. Take a piece of thin strong string put it inside the grove in the rubber where the body would go. Put the string all the way around crossing it over itself at the bottom. Get someone to hold the window tight in the opening of the body outside. With you inside...

Cool purpose built trailer! I like the build quality. One question thou. If your going to haul a trailer that weighs 3000lbs and 20 ft long doesn't it go against the whole idea of a tear drop?.

Great write up and beautiful pictures. The most notable part is the fact that you did the adventure in a old Bug that you restored.Most people would have scraped the old car. Can't what to see where the old bug takes you next! It's sort a like where's Waldo!

Absolutely beautiful scenery pics! That trail looks like a hold on to the seat of your pants trail , requiring some drinking back at camp. Didn't notice anywhere what camera are you using? Great read.

Nice build Frontier! I have the same plans for my 93 just getting the routine service looked after. I am going to see how many miles I can get out of the 4.5. I am currently at 217K and from what I have read on here have a long way to go yet!

Nice build and awesome craftsmanship. Question How did you seal the back hatch to stop the water and dust from entering the kitchen area?. Personally not a fan of the piano hinge on the side doors,but that's just me! Job well done Sir!!
