few free mods today

-cut out a hole in the plastic piece that goes into the intake inlet and put a black screen over it for a bit more airflow.
-removed smog pump belt.
-noticed my tailpipe hanger was rusted to almost dust so i cut about 3 inches after my muffler (muffler still there not cut before) and grabbed the tailpipe and twisted the entire tailpipe off! lolz it sounds sweet now! just need a turndown.

heres how it sounds.

by the way id sell mine for the right price, or trade for a LS1 F body/ powerstroke 7.3 or a 3+3 style crew cab chevy/gmc 82-91 id really like a pickup.

Hmm...I have a 2002 1500 silverado ext cab 4x4. Not what you are looking for but I have been looking for something like this local. If you werent so far away!

More curious than anything, but why are you wanting to get rid of it? Do you need a truck bed for work or something? Seems like you have an exceptionally clean truck and it would be a shame to get rid of it.

and got some Rustoleum truck bed coating... http://www.autozone.com/autozone/ac...g&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=98214_0_0_ going to use it on the tow hitch and tow hooks and other various parts too see how well it works. should be nice for the little parts. if its nice ill coat the whole frame..EDIT- used the entire can on the spare tire well and it looks ok but ill get pictures after the second coat as there are some runs i need to cover and i want a thicker coat...looks good though!

also took the hood insulation out as it was a little ratty and looked bad...but it was still good enought for the interior! hahaha and it did a good job too. now the tire whine isnt so loud even at 60 mph

Super clean. Why no roof rack, did you take the stock one off, any plans for a new one?

Also, do you have 12v outlets installed inside the truck?

no roof rack yet, might get one later on but its not needed right now. yes it did have a factory roof rails on it but not when i bought it. i dont have any outlets YET, just the stock cig. lighter and that charges my ipod perfect but im getting a single 12v outlet and then one of these. http://www.drillspot.com/products/427816/Bell_39023-8_Power_Strip and putting it into somewhere like the front of the console.

I think Im confused. Do you not have an aux battery w isolator?
It seems like you would want to install an inverter and wire it that way.
