2006 Sprinter Westfalia James Cook - Oberaigner Permanent 4x4 - Rear and Central Lock - 69 000 USD

I am selling Sprinter Westfalia James Cook Oberaigner Permanent 4x4 with central and rear diff locks.

Professionally rebuilt engine at 318 000 kms, currently 335 000 km.
Semi automatic sprintshift transmission replaced with manual for simplicity and durability.
We went last year on a trip around Europe, no problems at all.
Painted raptor paint, rust free.
Rear wheel carrier with ladder not shown.

Webasto heater, water tank, Truma water boiler, original Westalia fridge, new upholstery, MB G class wheels, Swedish high quality QPax bullbar (new about 800US).
Front door additional inside Fiamma locks, sliding doors additional dead bolt locks for enhanced security.

Kona rear shocks, additional leaf spring added for better ride, coilovers with new shocks on the front.

The interior and the roof were swapped from an older James Cook, that was rusted and made no sense to fix it. Luckily 4x4 came across to purchase and I decided to do the swap.

All has been done meticulously and with attention to detail.

Thank you! I am currently in Poland. I will take the pics when I pick it up from the shop. I got dead bolt locks in the UK for sliding doors and they are being installed. Underside is clean as a whistle, no rust at all, its been well antirust secured when it rolled out of factory.

Thanks! The problem with T1N 4x4's is that most of them have engageable 4x4 system meaning you can use it only off the pavement and at low speeds.
So if you go skiing and driving up the mountains you driving regular RWD heavy van and that's tricky.
This is the Oberaigner options:
ZG1 = switchable all-wheel drive
ZG2 = permanent all-wheel drive plus longitudinal lock
ZG3 = switchable all-wheel drive plus reduction (no lock!)
ZG4 = permanent all-wheel drive plus longitudinal lock AND reduction
The one here is rare ZG2, with rear lock and central lock which makes it safe family camper on the highway and still offering decent capabilities for logging roads.
Not mentioning old good 2.7CDi (chipped for more power and better economy) with manual tranny ;).

I loved that engine in the T1Ns. They should've never quit using them.

I'd love a manual in my van too but not gonna happen in the gool ole US of A.

2.7CDI is awesome, simple, durable, with proper maintenance will go forever.

I dont understand North American fascination with auto, up until recently automatic transmissions were rarity in Europe, now its changing. I love being able to control my van with a stick.

sorry for late reply.

there are two beds, one on the top, there is a board that slides towards the middle of the van and creates the bed.
On the first picture that shows foldable bench, you can see it folded (up/right of the pic).
Second bed is foldable couch on the bottom, that is also a seat with 3 seatbelts.

Pictures are taken from the internet to give you an idea but my van is pretty much same but with custom upholstery that I replaced the funky old fabric with.
