Cones or Retainers

Very impressive! Not a single poser in the lot! I have a 1988 Range Rover and run OME HD springs with 2" TODDCO spacers and ProComp +2" shocks, and had to retain mine with stock arms. I used muffler clamps, but I'm a CB. I built a set of cones, then decided I didn't like the way they acted on other people's trucks and gave them away. I like the feeling of control on hills and slopes. I have plenty of flex.

I used hose clamps for about a month or so as a temporary fix. They were effective and ugly.

My truck is painted with Durabak bedliner. Think I'm worried about ugly?

I like cones. My truck is very stable with them. They are noisy but with my set up it works great.
D1 5" lift, rockware custom length trailing arms, 14" travel shocks.
