Figured it was about time I started a thread on my trailer. Been wanting one of these trailers for years, when I heard they were being imported and I finally had the opportunity to get one I jumped on it. So far it's been everything that I had dreamed. Quick and easy to setup and pack up. I got it in October so I've got to do a few trips but I sure can't wait until next summer! I opted for the A/C (wife's request ), TV, radio, diesel water/air heater, lithium ion battery and batwing awning. Let me know if you have any questions I'll be glad to try and answer.

Nice! Ever since my trip to South Africa in 2011, I've wanted an African style camper.

I don't remember the first time I saw one online but I've wanted one ever since! It'd would have been torture to get to see one in person before I could have been able to buy one!

Are you a stay in one spot or travel from camp to camp kind of couple?

We do a little of both, setup is a breeze it about the same or less than my RTT and M416.

Who did you import through, can we see some interior shots, how do you like it so far?

Conqueror now has a dealer in the US based out of Ohio.

Sure I'll take some and post them.

Here's where they originate from. I believe their shipped to Australia as parts and then assembeled and then, I assume, shipped here.

They're actually all made in South Africa even the Aussie trailers. The Aussie's do have some of their own components that they add on. The trailers that are being imported to the US come from SA. They come without the electronics installed as they run on different voltages than we do so it's better to source the electronics here. But they do run the hoses and wires when they are built.

I love this trailer and have been thinking of getting one. How does it pull with the jeep over obstacles? I noticed it's a bit on the heavy side and not sure if my TJ will handle in the mountians.

Thanks, I haven't got to pull it on anything too tough yet. It has pulled good on everything so far but might be a little much for a TJ. There are some smaller versions that'd probably be better with a TJ.
