Still running the stock axle components for now.
Everything was like new in there during tear down, but I still ordered in all new bearings and seals and gaskets to replace those while I have it apart.
I won't bother with the upgraded axle shafts and extra-bullet-proofing since this setup has worked quite well for me as a daily driver and hard wheeler.
By the time I'm ready for the next stage in modding I'll be replacing the axles with some portals from a Volvo C303.
So 2" of extra coil lift, and 5" of portals...
7" extra and I'm set for the 46" version of this tire. :smileeek:
Granted this will take some time and lots of custom fab and supporting mods, but thats half the fun.
