GX460: need a new lift

The toytec coilover exploded at 53k miles. Want to try something new. Any recommendations? Looking at OME MT64, Bilstein 6000, etc.

Some don't list GX kits, but do for the 4runner. If I buy a 4runner kit, do I need to compensate with heavier springs in the front?

OME or Dobinsons. For Toyota I stick with the Aussie brands, they have far more experience for many more years at building lifts for overloaded Toyotas.

Dobinsons, in particular, has far better spring selection than any other vendor. I have the MRAs.

Bilstein is a budget brand, their shocks fade quick in my experience. Having never owned Toytec, even though their shop is like 1 mile away from me, I probably wouldn't buy any of their lift kits. They just look cheap and I think they use Bilstein components.

Yeah, it's a bummer about Toytec. I'm just up in Boulder.

It's going to be the MT64 or the Dobinson. Just need to figure out what springs I want
