iPad mount and case

I was researching a lot of options on how to mount the I pad in the truck and I found a few but almost all the mounting systems would not work with a case installed on the iPad. I finally found trident kraken series cases and the bases. Attached are a few pics of the mounting system. I purchased the ten inch arm. I did get a 2.1 amp and 1 amp hard wired USB port wired in and then another 12v outlet so I can charge my iPhone, iPad and garmin GLO and still power my kids DVD player while driving. I am using motion X for the offline maps. So far no issues. I am happy that I had to spend less than 200 to get all options I wanted including a better case for my iPad. 50 for the case 30 for the mounting arm 100 for the gps and the 7 for motion X.

Nice setup.

I have an iPad mini I'm using mounted to the windshield, but I have to remove the protective sleeve it's in every time, it is annoying. Looks like you can just clip in and go.

I have an I Pad mini in a Lifeproof water proof case and planing to get a X -Grip from Ramount.

Worked great so far for my I-phone with the otterbox water proof case.
