Is this a good price?

I know these threads are annoying but I came across a 94' w lockers, 33's, 224k miles for $4,200 asking price.

I'm not really in the market, don't know much about Land Cruisers but was thinking about picking it up, refurbishing it a bit(needs paint/odds and ends) and probably selling it(after I get some enjoyment first).

So I'm looking at it from a flip mindset because it seems like they sell much higher.

FJ80
225k miles
Lockers
33's
brush guard
Mostly stock
Rhino lined floor(probably reinstall carpet)
AC broken(I can fix it).
Some paint fade.

$4,200 OBO

Not posting pics in fear of poachers.

Unless it has a large hole in the roof, that sounds like s good deal. Here in the SW, that would be a $6500 truck, likely much more. Even if it were a salvage title, it still seems like a good price.

if we say no would you still buy it?

Honestly on the fence and haven't made my mind up either way..

This isn't one of those "please vindicate my decision threads".

I'm just looking to make some side cash and have a toy to mess with for awhile.

If it's spent it's life outside the rust belt, sounds like a reasonable price.

What to the seats look like under those covers? Lockers work?? Toyota's green paint is notorious for fading...and not just on Landcruisers. BIL's Tundra has the same problem!

BTW - it's not a '94 based on the grill. '94's had the Toyota name across the grill, not the logo. That started in '95. Can't tell looking at the steering wheel if there's an airbag there or not. '95 and up has airbags.
