Added a Midland radio. Fabbed up a super simple bracket to mount the antenna. Used a fuse tab to wire it in. Placed the unit on the driver side center console. Tucks away nicely.

Got the awning mounted. Ironman 4x4. Black Friday purchase.

Also, fun fuel leak surprise. Seems the connector internals went bad and began pushing fuel between the fuel line and the blue plastic coating. The fuel created a bubble between the coating and the fuel line that eventually burst giving me a lean fuel mix code. Initially thought too much air, something not connected with the air intake or something, but a quick check under the hood revealed the real issue. Sourcing the connector (5/16ths) was a huge pain. Clamping the fuel line to said new connector also proved to be a challenge. Took a spring clamp to finally seal it.

Completed a drawer system and also a shelf for the fridge/ freezer. Pulled the 1/3 rear seat leaving the 2/3 seat in place. Drawer system was built around the use of the blackstone griddle. Ridiculous, I know, but I love it and I’ll not apologize for the absurdity of carrying such a large grill.IMG_3958.jpeg73172212207__5EA227F7-85D7-4557-88C7-F3CB55280B84.jpegIMG_3961.jpegIMG_3963.jpegIMG_3980.jpeg

It was a Christmas miracle this thing turned out to be level. No running scrambled eggs on my watch.

Had the instrument cluster out to replace the plastic screen and noticed all these small pieces of electrical tape. Rather than fix problems, someone at some point went to the effort of removing the instrument cluster to put tape over their warning lights. People amaze me. IMG_3993.jpeg

Just in case anyone needs another reason to love the air suspension and their Gap iid tool. We’ve got a fair chance of bad weather coming here in the next few days. Even on oversized tires with a roof rack and a roof top tent she still just barely fits inside.

I was getting a suspension fault telling me I had to stay under 30mph. Quick change of my front height sensors and the fault is gone. Celebrate the simple fixes.
