My new (to me) 2008 outback 3.0R LL Bean, 100,000 miles, in the Black Range in southern New Mexico

My wife and I just bought this specifically for mountain driving here in southern New Mexico, plus some overlanding as it presents itself.IMG_0039.jpg

cool any plans on lift and tires ?
all in good time. It has new Toyo Eclipse rubber, so I'm probably going to wait until they're worn down a bit before replacement. Probably do the lift kit at the same time. We're not planning anything too radical yet, keeping it mostly stock for the turny-twisty New Mexico mountain road, with a bit of a lift for some of the high-crowned desert roads around the Jornada del Muerto.
