Having Sierra Expeditions install new OME suspension, springs, torsion bars, and shocks, on my 1991 Montero LS, LWB.

What other suspension items should I replace or at least inspect?

Anti sway bar bushings (with age they rot and start squeaking), tie rod ends, CV joint covers, steering system tightness, wheel bearing wear, etc.

These are all things a typical mechanic can inspect.

Is there a particular brand I should be looking for or looking out for as far as quality goes or are all the parts out there fairly the same?

For the parts I mentioned the Mitsubishi OEM parts are very high quality.

For the upgrades you mentioned, OME is certainly decent quality although for shocks, I prefer KYB Gas Adjusts. They're cheaper than OME and work just as well.

For a coil spring upgrade, I also prefer the Gen II coil springs because they're progressive rate springs which ride far better than constant rate springs while also and providing an extra 1-2" of lift on a Gen I. They're also inexpensive at a parts yard.

I probably should have asked about the coil springs before I ordered the OME stuff, which is all paid for and fresh off the boat from Australia.

Will be posting pics soon.
