Detailed features are provided below, but here’s a quick overview:
Van is a converted 1994 E350 Econoline with under 140k miles. A Ujoint 4x4 conversion with 37” tires on an 8” lift provides massive clearance, articulation and driving stability. A high top was added to provide an interior standing height of 63”. On-board amenities include: 54 qt fridge/freezer, faucet/sink, 53”x75” bed with custom foam mattress, swivel captain chairs, hidden sliding bench with seat belts, flushable cassette toilet, led lighting throughout, large garage with 40” slide, lots of storage, 20 gallons fresh water, hot water shower system. Camper has been deep cleaned for sale.

  • 351 Windsor (5.8L, gas), Rock solid reliable and easily sourced parts at any local parts shop across the country
  • Recent standard tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, timing)
Suspension / 4x4 Conversion / Drivetrain:
  • Ujoint 4x4 conversion, 8" lift, Atlas leaf springs, Bilstein shocks, 37” x 13.50” Toyo Open Country M/T (with full-size spare)
  • 18" Procomp aluminum wheels
  • Stoptech front brake kit (rebuilt OE calipers with high temp seals, powder coated, stoptech pads/rotors)
  • Transmission rebuilt at ~100k, upgraded for more positive shifting for sustained heavy loads. All transmission seals replaced 9/2020.
  • 4.88 gears
Body:
  • Aluminess front bumper with locking winch box, bull bars, fog lights
  • Headlights upgraded to LED with running lights
  • Aluminess rear tire swingout/carrier
  • Aluminess rear door ladder
  • Bushwacker fender flares. Wheel wells trimmed for additional clearance
  • Low profile rear bumper powder coated black
  • New 60” Hi-Lift Jack mounted to rear bumper. Can also be used as a winch with included accessories. Heavy duty tow shackles front and rear.

Interior Features:
  • Large 53”x75” fixed bed/mattress with cover. Mattress consists of 3” high density foam topped with 2” of plush memory foam. Very comfortable!
  • Stainless steel sink with basket strainer, sink grid, stopper. Faucet is fed via water pump from 7-gallon heavy duty container and drains into 5-gallon gray water tank. Both containers are easily removed for filling/dumping. The primary advantage of this simple plumbing system is winterization is never needed.
  • Hidden sliding bench. This is one of the most unique features of the van! Slide the bench in to open more floor space. Bench is custom built on 500-pound locking slides and includes 2 sets of anchored lap belts. We’ve carried 3 adults on the bench while driving off-road with no issues.
  • Butcher block countertop. Comes with side extension.
  • Original seats have been replaced with comfortable Captains Chairs. Both fully-swivel.
  • Cedar plank ceiling with dimmable led lighting. 4 USB ports on rear shelf.
  • Marmoleum flooring (installed in one piece). Marmoleum is bio-based, highly durable, non-toxic, anti-microbial and easy to maintain.
  • 2 deep overhead storage bins over the driver cab. Lighted interior.
  • Flushable cassette toilet. Slides out from under bench.
  • Original front carpet replaced and topped with all-weather rubber mats.
  • Two deep sliding drawers built flush into angled backrest of bench. One is 40” deep, the other 24”. Additional large drawer below bench and small drawer below counter.
  • Large lighted rear garage with 40” slide. Dimensions 63” W x 52” D x 28” H. Comes with a large box that mounts to the slide. Fill box with your camping gear. When emptied take out, turn over and use as the perfect camper entrance! A 2’x3’ rubber mat fits perfectly on top of the box. Box is weather resistant and reinforced with aluminum trim.
  • 20 gallons of total freshwater storage
  • BOSS-XW18 Basecamp Shower System. Uses 1-lb propane bottle. Can be ran using internal battery or inverter. A must have for the active adventurer!
  • Quality marine hardware used throughout the camper. Except for the front carpet, all surfaces are hard and easily wiped down.
  • Insulated window coverings (magnetically attached) for rear windows around bed.
Electronics:
  • Camper is powered by a maintenance free Renogy Deep Cycle AGM Battery 12 Volt (200Ah). Battery is in excellent condition and has never been discharged below 50%. Can run all on-board electronics (including fridge) for about 4 days before dropping to under 60%.
  • High-efficiency top-loading 54 Quart fridge/freezer (12V/110V). Uses under 20 Ah per day normal use.
  • 1000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter
  • MaxxFan Deluxe with remote. Features rain shield, thermostat, air intake and exhaust functions
  • All led lighting throughout camper. Ceiling features split dimmable flush led’s. A recessed led strip runs full-length under the sink counter for warm lower lighting and great visual effect.
  • WeBoost mobile cell booster. One of my favorite Hank memories is camping in the high desert miles above Moab while working remotely with full data coverage thanks to the WeBoost
  • Pre-wired for solar
  • Keyline Smart Battery Isolator (12V, 140 amp) for rapid house battery charging. We’ve never bothered to install solar panels because we can top-off our house battery in just a few hours of driving.
  • USB charging stations are located throughout camper. 110V outlets available from inverter and shore power.
  • House battery charger (via shore power)
Build-Out Notes:
  • Fully insulated floor, 3M 5200 sealed, reflectex base and 1/2" Rmax foam (reflectex only under front carpet)
  • 3/4" laminated plywood subfloor, stainless steel hardware through bolted to body and sealed with 3M 5200
  • Fully insulated walls/doors, small cavities filled with expanding foam, large cavities filled with fiberglass insulation, small holes sealed with Tyvek tape, large openings covered with breathable membrane sheeting
  • Extended fiberglass roof insulated with base of reflectex and 3/4" foam in top of roof
  • Solid wood and plywood used throughout build
Known Issues:
  • Some scratches and small dents on body (it’s an expedition vehicle)
  • The A/C does not blow through front dash vents. The A/C does work, and the check valve has been recently replaced. Apparently, a hose behind the dash needs replacing as the A/C only blows through the floor and defrost vents.
  • Speedometer fluctuates at high speeds. At over 70 mph the needle jumps around a bit. The differential speedometer ring has been replaced so the problem is again probably behind the dash.
  • The radio is original with cassette tape deck. One of the buttons is missing making it inoperable.
The following items have been replaced within the last year:
Water pump, ignition coil, distributer assembly, spark plugs, wires (upgraded to cable), alternator, brake lines, fuel pump, starter battery

Thanks! Just simple pine. But it's well sealed with an acrylic finish so holds up well.

Bump.

And question: I have a 1995 E350 with an Advanced 4 wheel conversion. Its a decent nice ride. but I have always wanted a Ujoint 8” with 37”s. How do you like the handling, maneuvering, obstacle avoidance and overall ride and safety of the Ujoint kit?

Best
