in other news, moved the Jeep around and got a quick snap of it with the lift

a bite at a time
the adapter to the PS pump

and connected
kU4Ys3B.jpg

and then the almost right belt.... I ordered the one size smaller - this will work but it will lose tension the moment it starts stretching
NXva3yv.jpg

installed
aR8FOFi.jpg

thinking this is where the filter will go....
VDXEy3g.jpg

and classic, it works
4o9RXzd.jpg

but lost one bolt
JcePZlp.jpg

it should work (stock radiator)

Went to Portland to visit dad so didn't get a lot done... however
installed the new, adjustable panhard
PTRVW0Yh.jpg

and new stabilizer
mLnHTTCh.jpg

then spent quality time seeing what it would take to make this fit
xfBg3Qvh.jpg

this is now redundant

Cummins makes a shorter oil filter... less fittings, sure less cleaning (but there is a work around with a Franz style filter)... that said this is a every 3k oil change so I'm not as worried
then got to work on the tank.... ordered the fittings and hose, should be here Tuesday

Thankfully, with all my spare time, an old guy had a medical emergency and nearly head-on ran into me. Hoping he has insurance... glad he's not dead, it was touch and go there... it's odd to go from victim to rescuer in less time then it takes to type this....

Oh yeah, all while on my way to church (he was headed the wrong way ;) )

back to Jeep content
I've had the 'other' window since Woodinville - so giving it 2 years to age seemed like a good idea. That and I'm waiting on parts so time to get other stuff done

MuoQ8SYh.jpg

and the insert
FEPf5gth.jpg

and the window removed

a bit of windshield glue and it's in place

back to it.
$200 later and the right belt
jwpN433h.jpg

one that works (neither of which came from Quickdraw) but note how very little space there is between white marks? that white mark is where the tensioner is when no belt is on
4wlQlt6h.jpg

this is the correct belt installed - note the white mark on the tensioner?
TIItWkrh.jpg

now that's sorted... time for my nightmare

Fittings arrived
hDF7NH2h.jpg

didn't buy enough hose but napa carries it so it'll be fine
disabled the electric pump - found nice metal bits in the well
NyghTsih.jpg

removed the one way valve in the assembly to disable the pump. It's still in there in case I ever LS this or need it but now it's most certainly off
cgx2vXnh.jpg

this is impossible for Jeep dealership mechanics.... snapping the fittings together - no maybe y'all see why I'm so irritated at them. Even engineers could fix stupid
GCsIUvMh.jpg

need to get a 5/8 overflow hose
CiiCOYph.jpg

get the tank in, then realize I can't get it all the way in because the lift is in the way

I'm really interested to see how the wiring goes and how all the stock functions work.
I really hope you can get 100% functionality from everything electronic!

after a bit of research, it all went back together then the intercooler
CZ27XIIh.jpg

I got a 'deal' on this (meaning only about twice what the parts would cost alone) but this is for a JK with a supercharger - so some connections required
Pt2Hzd3h.jpg

but it all, basically, bolts in place
1ERCcjah.jpg

5mwckUXh.jpg

you'd think I'd have tubing to connect this.... but no so I wait
lqBM86Dh.jpg

we'll get back to this and in the meantime build coolant tubes and get onto wiring
