In addition, the truck has the following modifications that were performed aftermarket.
--Carli Suspension Pintop 2.5” leveling system.
This is a quality kit that makes a huge difference in the way the truck rides and how it handles the weight of the camper. It Includes new springs and Carli tuned King Remote Reservoir shocks in the front and replaces the factory rear shocks with Carli tuned King Remote Reservoir shocks in the rear while using the factory leaf springs. This does not reduce the payload of the truck from factory and makes a great setup for a truck camper.
--Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 295/70 R18 tires.
These have around 15,000 miles on them and still have a good amount of wear left on them. They have been a great tire offering good traction and a smooth highway ride. These are pretty close to a 35” tire so they offer some additional clearance for off-roading. They fit perfect after the Carli lift kit was installed.
--Airbags installed on the rear axle for leveling out the truck and reducing sag from the truck camper. These also improve handling. They are clearly not needed as this truck camper falls well within the payload of the truck, but I found they made a big difference in the way the truck handles. They are filled with two shraeder valves routed to the rear of the truck near the license plate. I just use a bike pump and typically run about 35 psi with the truck camper on.
Truck has 39,780 miles on it. It has had oil changes done by the factory since new. Overall, the truck is in excellent condition. There are a few rock chips on the hood as to be expected and the usual rock chips where the tires have kicked up rocks. The truck is perfect mechanically and has been completely trouble free requiring just oil changes and fuel filter changes.
The Carli Pintop suspension is a huge upgrade and makes the truck ride infinitely better on road and off road.
