Tips for Overland Motorcycle preparation

WOW what a marvelous thread.
On the topic of being prepared.
I also carry a small battery operated hand held Radio. I can listen in to weather and warnings.
Along with my other gear for travel I also include the following.
Inside the cavity in my handle bars i keep the following on a piece of cord.
1) some cash in a zip lock bag.
2) spare zip ties and zip lock bags rolled up.
3) a couple of tubes of Super Glue and a rolled up lint cloth.
I also keep some rag rolled up around the lower bike frame in a zip lock bag attached with zip ties.
I think the best idea I have had over the years is to carry a spare clutch cable routed with the original one ready to deploy as well as a throttle cable routed along side the original one also
