Just spread that plastic part outwards and the lever comes out straight. Still contemplating OEM or used one from salvage stores :smilies27. Winter is fast approaching...

    Heater Core replacement

I've read that changing the heater core would mean a complete hvac system haul. As in recharge a/c put in compressor oil and stuff, that is how the montero system has been designed? Can some one help me out here if this is true and it's not as simple as swapping out the core? Thanks

    Low Idle (under 500 rpm)

Thank you guys from what I've tested so far, I think EGR valve is the culprit too. When I pinch/choke the vacuum line as shown in the below video, the truck doesn't die. So i think EGR is the problem. Is there another test to rule out the EGR solenoid? Would hate to replace it and find out...

    Low Idle (under 500 rpm)

Hello All, I have done research on this but do not have anything conclusive. My Gen 2.5 idles very low (under 500 rpm) once the engine is warmed up. So far it hasn't stalled, also the idle is smooth it doesn't jump up and down. Stays under 500 rpm. So far I've checked Idle Air Control module...

Wheel Balance question for 33' - steering wobble

Hello all, this is my first time putting such a big tire in any SUV. Just got set of brand new 33x10.5r15 installed on stock rims. Had it done at a small shop around the corner. I noticed there were no balancing bits on the Rims. I inquired and the installer said that for bigger tires (light...
