I finally was able to convince my wife to accompany me on camping trips. Coupled with our two dogs, and looking ahead at kids, I am looking for a bigger vehicle. I'd rather have my wife with me to enjoy the mild trails and camping experience rather than doing the harder trails alone.

Here is a drivers view of my "illegal" retrofit. Obviously due to the sharp cutoff, there is zero oncoming glare. Light output is only where it is aimed....directly onto the road, not into oncoming drivers eyes.

Highway mpgs were bested at 17mpg fully loaded with roof pod doing 60-65 flat highway. This was with 33s. 31s would probably get a little less.

Nathan. Forget removing the battery to alternator cable. For now get a 0-1 guage cable and run from the batt to alt. you can either disconnect the old one, or leave it. If this fixes your problem, reroute the new cable as best you can without it getting in the way of anything.

Red - I'm on tapatalk too. No signatures displayed I guess. 33x12.5x15 tires. I swapped diff gears to 4.63 so I'm right back on par with stock as far as powerband/rpm and speedo. I guess it is a tad slower due to wheel/tire weight alone, but the truck isn't made to be a race car. It is ok...
