Got my new ENGEL MT45 Platinum all set

Decided to run a dedicated wire from Battery to the back. The ARB Wiring Kit worked since the Engel one is out of stock. Looks great. Posted a mini review here on my blog: https://www.myjlproject.com/blog/engel-mt45-platinum-review/

12v Cigarette plug in back enough for fridge?

I like that option! Thanks. I’ve decided to run the dedicated wire. It’s not hard on a Jeep anyway.

12v Cigarette plug in back enough for fridge?

Thanks guys. I won’t have it plugged in 24/7, only when camping so if I don’t have t9 modify wiring much that would be great.

12v Cigarette plug in back enough for fridge?

I’m ordering a Engel MT45 platinum as part of their Father’s Day deal. Do I need to do a better wiring job to run it or will the cigarette plug do fine that’s in back of Jeep? If I’m going to run wired direct to battery, how do I tap that into the wires for fridge?

Tired of all the "crap" RTT's. So I made my own. - TERRAPOD!

Dude, I gotta say that is possibly the cleanest, nicest looking hardshell tent I've ever seen. I really wish I could get one but with 2 adults and 2 small children it would be cramped :(. Thats another thing I wish TENT builders showed, the tents with actually human models inside to see...

    Rhino-Rack BatWing Review/Write Up

I agree, The new version of the batwing is so easy to use its not even funny. Its way easier to deploy than a regular awning as you dont have to hold it with one hand and unroll it. This you literally just unzip the bag, pull it all out and then lower the poles. It can all be done with one...

    Which Jeep Model & Why?

XJ's are trash IMO. The Engine/Tranny/T-Case is good but you pretty much have to fix everything else. The Rest of the vehicle is junk imo. And yes I had one. I've had all mix of Jeeps and honestly my new 2018 JL has the been the best so far. No problems whatsoever. A lot of issues I'm...

    Pioneer platform and Yakima RTT

I've read where some people had to put new cross sections on the pioneer Platform to make things easier to do with RTT's. I know its a Toyota but you can see here in this thread a few pics down where they added crossbars on top...

Can anyone recommend a sub $200 Tablet for Navigation

Honestly I'd stay away from Android devices. Apps just run better on Apple Devices. And for just navigation I'd look at iPad Refurbish models with CELLAR as they offer built in GPS. This is on Amazon for 152

Magellan eXplorist TRX7 - Anyone have experience with it yet?

I know this topic is old but I'm new here and I had to laugh at the earlier comments on phones being IP67 rated. If your Dash deep in water that your GPS navigation is getting wet then you have way bigger problems than a 150.00 TABLET getting ruined LOL. Sorry but the days of dedicated GPS...
