Full Size Truck RTT Mounting Options

Good evening all, I got rid of my Tacoma a few months ago and I still have my RTT that I would like to get some use out of on my 05 F250. Does any one have pictures of different mounting ideas? I have seen the Thule Bed Rail System and I am not really a fan, they are spendy and look kind of...

Propane is fine, they said it sets off their radiation sensors on occasion. They have to ensure your carrying propane and not nuclear weapons... I'm cool with that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    First Long Trip, Baja Adventure

Regrets: Leaving early, not exploring the last route and campsite on the Sea of Cortez. Not enough time to stay another nights at Mike's and explore that area. Forgetting my decent camera and taking more pictures! I still need the photo's from Ross. And not parking illegally and getting fish...

    First Long Trip, Baja Adventure

Camping on the Pacific. This was an awesome place although a bit windy! If any one knows the name of this place/surf camp, please let me know, its obvious a lot of people spend some significant time here. Does it get any better? It does, on this night we attempted pizza in the dutch...

    First Long Trip, Baja Adventure

I left Colorado at about 3pm to head towards Las Vegas where my buddy Ross from MN was flying into. I B-lined it for St. George UT, I knew I would be having a late night dinner here consisting of In and Out Burger. *I made it to Mesquite NV at about 10pm. Grabbed a inexpensive room at one of the...

    Elk Mountains, CO- Finally

Marble to the mill will be no problem. The full loop (not schofield) is easy as well but does have a lot of switch backs beyond the mill. Make sure you get some bbq in marble. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another Tacoma Build (Brian's 2015 DCLB)

I to went from a lifted Jeep, to a Icon setup Tacoma... Night and day :) The Taco and Icon's is the best lifted setup I've had after numerous Jeeps using, Rubicon Express, Tera Flex, Fox, and OME... None of them ever felt "Right" on the road. It was such a relief when I took the truck down the...

    Best, cheapest RTT?

Tim, I bought a set of 10 RTT's from Wincar, I can tell you they are of really good quality and they make tents for several companies. Buying one tent off Alibaba is not cost or time effective after shipping and customs.... It will cost about the same as the tent. Buy one from CVT or Tepui...

Organizing/securing gear in your truck bed

I have done a few trips in the Tacoma now and while having the truck bed is awesome, it always turns into a disorganized cluster. The other issue is the lack of tie down points to the actual bed floor. I plan on adding tie down points to each bolt holding the bed in place. Any one have any...

    Jeep Renegade Trailer Concept

No it would never see a real trail, and from the looks of it the TV folds down flat taking up most of the trailer... It just seems to defeat any real purpose, expect to draw attention at auto shows...

    Jeep Renegade Trailer Concept

I am surprised no one else here brought up Jeeps new concept trailer... http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2015/03/02/jeep-renegade-hard-steel-concept-rolls-into-geneva/ Oh yeah, they put a flipping TV in it... because that TV is going to work great after a day on the trail... :coffeedrink: I...

Building a possible Tacoma. Have some questions.

The TRD has a few things, One of them being the A-Trac on the newer models that is basically an electronic traction control for off roading using abs to send power away from a slipping wheel. Better seats, factory e-locker, and a power outlet in the back which a lot will say is kind of worthless...

FJ Narrow Tires 16 vs 17

255/85/16 will give you what you are looking for... I apologize I can't remember the 17 inch equivalent. However if you google tire size calculator you can convert from the easy to understand inches to metric size. Lucas
