We now have our Sirius antenna stuck to the top of an inside cabinet and it works. It's magnetized to the bottom of a steel pizza pan as a ground plane. Thought it had to be outside but obviously not.

We're going to pick it up at GXV the Apr 7 week while staying in our Lance travel trailer to keep the mog "unused". Then meander to the Expo. Then, sadly it WILL go into storage in Phoenix.

many thanks. I don't know but heard that European rigs like Unicat are three or four times the cost of an American mfg? If so, is it the labor? parts? or just the nature of a European "luxury" rig?

For those overhanging branches, the non-driver could also crouch on the cab roof with gloves, goggles and serious branch cutters...why are you laughing?! Think of all the help you're giving the Forest Service, just remember to throw the cutters into the brush when you see a green truck approaching.
