    assistance needed - 87 110

I'd love to keep it at about 1" or less. It is running stock rear springs but the PO put a different spring up front to lift the front a tad. I just cut and pasted what ARB recommended re: castor correction. If I don't need it, I'd rather skip it. I know OME raised my Montero about 1-1.5"...

    assistance needed - 87 110

I recently imported a 3 door former MOD 110 and am planning to do a significant amount of work. I am planning to go ahead and replace the suspension with OME springs and shocks. I eventually plan to add a dormobile kit to the 110, so I think I might need some rear springs which can handle the...

    5spd swap into Gen 2.5

Will the pedal brackets, shifter linkage, master/slave, and other manual trans components from a Gen 2 work on a Gen 2.5? I'm looking to do a TDi/5spd swap in my Gen 2.5.

Thinking about a JDM swap and 5spd

I am thinking about ditching the 3.5l and getting a 4d56t diesel and associated manual transmission. The 4d56t that I saw has an AWD transmission. Is that a misnomer or am I getting into more than a pretty straight forward swap?

    1998 Montero for sale

It's been mentioned that there is possible bottom end damage. It is a very clean Monty if you are able to swap in a TDI.

I got the BFGs put on today...moving in the right direction now. now waiting to Kiwiize it with some NZ plates and Pajero badges Who knows, perhaps a snorkel, some OME, and an ARB bumper too? Also, does anyone know if the gen 2.5 side badges with Pajero, instead of Montero, are available?

I spent my formative years in the Friuli, though the mountains in that region are the the Carnic Alps. The Dolomiti are in the Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige. I spent a lot of time hiking and off-roading in a GTI and UAZ. What part of Northeastern Italy?

You are probably thinking of the e28...which ran from 83 to 88. I have one, an m535i, and love it. They are easy to work on, fast, fun to drive, and look great. Yes. Good luck on that second part. You might want to invest in a c-130.
