Heat barrier.

Going to be pulling the weird heat shield/sound deadening stuff and rubber mat out of the front of my van soon because it's filled with ants/mould and putting down a heat shield, then putting the rubber mat back on top.

Can anyone recommend a heat shield?

I found this stuff on Amazon, any good?

I used FatMat in my '71, and it works great. Was about the best deal I could find on the amount I wanted. Bought it off of ebay. I would use it again in a heartbeat. It took the empty tin can sound of my truck and made it nice and quite. It even made the 40 series flowmasters semi-tolerable.

this is what I did and I am super happy..the paint product was super easy and made a difference, matter of fact each layer I was lived with for a bit to see what the results were.
the home depot Reflectix was the best bang for the buck

Alright, now I need to figure out what FatMat to get for my floor. Should I just get the regular FatMat or do I need the special flooring FatMat which is way more expensive?
