Is that the gobi ranger? and what lights are those on top of the gobi?

I love your jeep btw

Thanks for the love ;-)

It is a Gobi Stealth rack with some mods to the ladder. The Jeep and rack are 2007, but I run a 2011 hard top in the winter which has a wider rear window. I modified the ladder to allow the rear window to open. The two center lights are KC Apollo 6" 100w long range, and the two outer are KC Apollo 6" 55w floods.

Andy,

Thanks! Running a M8000 and a set of hubs. I'm very close to getting my hands on a orig Warn Overdrive. I not only daily drive this 2a but I also wheel and trail guide with it. Obviously I don't use it for every type of trail. I also have a 1995 YJ in need of a winch. It'll be a Warn when I've got the coin to put one on it.

The CJ Overbuild!

Well I've seen some others' in progress builds so here's mine.

1st day of ownership: No rust great running/driving '88 Wrangler-I know the title says CJ and this pic shows a YJ but she aged 2 years that 1st week with me!:Wow1:

Present Day: 3" rear stretch with 37s tucked into place with stock height springs!

Up front I installed a little something to add reliability, simplicity, and power and range at the same time! P-pumped Cummins 4BT

There were many steps between the first day and now. And many more until done. But the goal is a comfy and extremely capable daily driver that I won't hesitate to jump in for any trip needed. I have some Ford Windstar seats that fit me very well and am building it as soft riding as the uptravel vs bumpstops will allow!:ylsmoke: I have a build thread on JF under the same screenname, if curious.
