Haven't been around for a few days and missed this. So stoked for you guys at AT--especially Scotty. Good on ya, everyone. Fun to see a community come together, even better with a happy ending.

Oh man, Scotty's going to be mad with that dent in the nose box:violent-smiley-031:
It was already there from the south american trailer wreck. So the chassis is retro fitted from Scott Brady's original chaser chassis #1, that's enough to raise the rental rate in it's own. Glad your trailer is no longer MIA, Scotty, what a way to break in your first trailer, tanted love......

Martyn, glad to hear you guys are on your way to getting your trailer back. Sucks that you had to go through this but these folks really stepped up to help. Good job everyone!

Now if you could just get a ghost to inhabit it, and maybe get it used in a bank heist... forget Ebay, you need Sotherby's auction house!

This week I was starting to lose hope that Scotty's (Burl40) personal trailer would be recovered.

I am blown away by the breadth and scope of the community on ExPo. You represent the most generous and intelligent outdoor enthusaist forum on the web. Thank you for letting us be a part of it and thank you for all of your help in its' recovery. YOU ROCK!

This trailer has a story, much longer than the one told here as TacoChaser eluded to. Yes the chassis is #1. Our original prototype chassis for the Chaser series. It has been to the Arctic & back under the skillful guidance of Scott Brady. After the Arctic, the frame was swapped out so that Scott could test our upgrades on what we like to call around the shop Chaser 1.1.

#1 Chassis took on new life after being updated with new suspension hardware, sand blasted, re-powder coated. It was going to be used for our new prototype clam shell design. Another trailer had been loaned to the Feral Green Project. The trailer was rolled by Feral Green in a late night inclement weather related accident in Panama. The body & tent totaled.

After it was shipped back from Panama, only the nose box from the Feral Green loaner trailer was usable. We mated it up with a new body and the updated chassis #1, simply because we didn't have a new nose box one at the time. The one and only Serengeti tent was fitted to it because it is Scotty's favorite. Since Scotty had put so much love into this trailer over the years we felt it should be his. It had only one fine 3 day trip behind Scotty's FJ 40 on the Mojave trail before being abducted.

After this latest episode in Chaser chassis #1's history, I am beginning to think we should rename it the Phoenix.

trailer transport

I would offer to help transport the"phoenix" back home but then I would have to leave our "Tree House" {AT Horizon} home. Sorry! Glad its back and in good hands.

The story of the adventures of the Adventure Trailer, what a history in it's short life. I'm just glad to see the trailer in one piece, everything still inside and a happy ending to a bad situation. Some really honest, generous, good people have been taken advantage of and i hate seeing that happen.
 Mario & Martyn, you guy's have given way to much back to the community for this story to end up any other way. Cheers!

God that is a beautiful trailer. I'm glad it will be heading back home.
Ditto.
I want one in the future, and my Maggiolina will be taking its place on top of it.
