Perfect....I am in! Should I mount my awning to it...or through the van roof?

I'll have awning mounts. We're setting the next rack up with an ARB awning tomorrow.

Are you going to have one of your proto-types at the Expo? In my case, I would like to mount a rack to the penthouse roof using existing the existing Yakima tracks that are already screwed into the roof. But then I can get rid of the towers and bars. Yesssss:ylsmoke:

Don't plan to bring much with me since we're taking a vacation after the show....

Built another rack today that has to be installed next week, making the floor sections tomorrow and we should see the trim lock material to hide the wiring. Then I'll post the final pics and should have the pricing dialed in too!

Finished cleaning up V4's frame, installed the new front mounts and installed the pivot bushing. Bed is back on, not much left to do except clean her up and load the Sherpa next week!

Finding a home for the sPOD switch panel isn't as hard as finding a home for the source but the 92-96 dash is even harder! We eliminated the ashtray and made a panel to hold the switches as well as the air horn button.

Rack action today. V4 is all back together, SandCastle got new front springs and a shortened fuel tank.

7.3 rig has been here a while while the customer was overseas, ready to go home tomorrow! This van was a prime example of neglect and poor repair work. Stalled 3 times moving it from the transporter to the parking space. Purrs like a kitten now. A kitten on 35's.

Initial inspection of DeJavier 2.0. Don't know where to start..... so many things. I've still yet to drive a coil sprung van that drives better than ours.

Checked the codes on the 7.3, speed sensor was one of them. We knew that they extended the VSS to the t-case, lets start there. What is this?!?! Speaker wire? Not even soldered? Maybe thats the problem!

Wow, outside of the van too! That's just wrong.

Chris, thanks for the idea on the 92-96 switch panel. You've finally shown me a place to mount my switches. The ashtray in those years is not only useless, but it also rattles and it ridiculous to install/remove. Remove the doghouse just to get that one silly little center support screw out? WTFF? (****** Ford?) :)

More Crows 4x4/Javier craftsmanship! These holes were behind the radius arm mount that was welded (barely) to the frame. We just pulled the fuel tank that was delivered to the customer badly damaged right where the pick up is, probably one of the reasons it wasn't running well. And, just pulled the drain plug to empty the t-case before removal, DRY AS A BONE. Probably why it was jumping out of gear and making a racket. Unreal.....

I need a roof rack like that , did you know. The price now, let me know. Im at charlotte. I can go to the shop and get it

If you read back a couple of posts you'll see that it is a prototype.

It does, however, look pretty sweet. Love the low profile.

I have a price of $1495 for RB vans with no flooring, the floor sections are $289/ea. I'm not releasing them or going into production for a month or so, I want to see how the 1st two racks do in the real world. Will post here as soon as we can start taking orders!

Like the rack. Simple but well thought out.

Thanks!

Does Tribe of 5 have a build thread?

Not yet..... Need someone to help me find a spot!

Do we want it to be more in the Denver area or more of a destination (ie a few hours away in a mountain setting)? I like the idea of in or around steamboat if we go that route.

i could go either way. Wouldn't mind to camp out for the night but I also need to stay fairly close to Denver so I can get on the road home asap!
