I think every car "enthusiast" wants the manufacture to create a "strip" down version of their best vehicle. It should only include 4 wheels, an engine and a manual tranny and cost "less" than the "base" model but outperform them. I don't think this "vehicle" has ever been created in a "modern"...

You can use the mopar winter wheels with 33' 255/80/17 .. they are the same as the stock rubicon, etc...I'm debating that myself, I currently have the 33' with my stock rubicon and an AEV 2.5 ' its a great setup for exploring and moderate trails.

Looks really nice, I would invest the money and get the AEV tire carrier if your going to go a little bit bigger in the tires or if you decide 35 :) Another option for 33' would be KM2 255/80/17 and the stock wheels.

I have a 2DR built for "expedition" :) I too love the classic look of the 2dr , but at times I question if I should of purchased a 4dr. But, I have so much money invested in the 2 DR and its paid for , I just can't start over again.

I have an 09 JK and upgraded to the Sears die hard platinum. I purchased it at the local Sears by my house. I added multiple lights and winch to my jeep and just connected it to the battery. I haven't had any problems, but I don't use my accessories alot. It will also depend on how your going...

As everyone had mentioned the weight / space factor would be a problem with both. My friend has an 12' rubicon and I was in the backseat and the driver and passenger in the front. The cargo area had an ARB fridge and camping gear for about 3 days worth just for himself and I cramped in the back...

It doesn't look damaged to me, just the plastic fenders got ripped off and the windshield is down and a couple scratches, nothing worst then on the trails :smiley_drive: Take it to the car wash and call it a day.
